Youth Ponds

Looking for a place to take a child fishing hole that isn't combat fishing on the river can be challenging.  Be aware that stocked fish ponds are stocked with fish that have been feed products that may make the fish taste quite terrible. I rarely keep any fish.  The real point of the "Youth Only" fishing ponds is to drive interest in fishing that will last a lifetime and create memories.  Each map image is a link to Google Maps with directions that start from a spot if you just want to eat some seafood. 

 If you are not in the Tacoma area the following image should produce your local youth only ponds.

  The first Lake that produced a result with a google search was Wapato Lake, which has a fishing pier.
